Kurtis Foster was one of the many defensemen that were brought into the Tampa Bay Lightning organization this past summer. After a pretty brutal start of only 6 points in 22 games, Foster has been absolutely fantastic picking up 5 goals and 23 assists over his last 36, with 20 of those points on the powerplay. Pro-rate that to 82 games and it is 63 points!! Those are top 5 numbers.

While he may be riding on the coat tails of Stamkos and St. Louis, it is nice to see this happening to a guy who was pretty much lost in the shuffle in Minnesota after a season ending hit in 2008. Looking at it now, this hit kind of looks like what Ovechkin did to Campbell yesterday, except for way worse.
